Corrie Edwards joined the Kansas Health Consumer Coalition as the Executive Director in December 2006. She is a native Kansan who returned to Kansas in 2002 after working in Nebraska for numerous years. She has a demonstrated background in advocacy that includes over fifteen years of involvement in the field of human services. Her focus and passion are to ensure people have sufficient and accurate information to make informed decisions. To further that vision, Corrie helped develop two family network organizations in Nebraska that provided information, support and resources to families of children with disabilities. She previously served as Director of Programs for Keys for Networking, Inc., a statewide non profit organization in Kansas that advocates on behalf of parents whose children have serious emotional disturbances.
Corrie has received numerous national awards, including the "Making A Difference"Award from the Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health, the "Family Appreciation" Award from OMNI Behavioral Health and the "Advocate of the Year" Award from R.I.T.E.S for Families.

Corrie holds a BA in Human Services and Psychology from Friends University in Wichita and a Masters in Public Administration from Wichita State University.

Anna Lambertson joined the Kansas Health Consumer Coalition in May 2008. She works with community based and advocacy organizations to educate consumers and raise awareness of the need for health reform through programming and events. She has a background in human rights research, advocacy and social services and has conducted research for and helped implement local, statewide and national advocacy campaigns.
Anna has advocated for children and adults with disabilities and mental health issues through her work with Community Living Opportunities and Keys for Networking, Inc. She also worked on case management and program coordination with the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services to guarantee Kansans’ right to access services without discrimination on the basis of national origin or language. |
Anna lives in Topeka, where she serves as a Commissioner on the Topeka Human Relations Commission. She speaks French and Spanish and holds a BA in French and International Studies and a Masters in International Studies, both from the University of Kansas.

Sonia Olmos joined the Kansas Health Consumer Coalition in February 2008. She provides administrative and logistical support for programs and events and manages daily operations. She is a native Kansan whose background includes six years of experience serving diverse populations in the public welfare system and through advocacy organizations. She has gained awareness of the struggles families face as they try to receive and maintain health care and coverage.
Sonia worked on health care education as a social work intern with the Shawnee County Health Department and as the Family Services Coordinator at Head Start in Lawrence. She also has significant experience providing assistance to families of children with disabilities and developmental delays through her work with Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters, a national and evidence-based preschool program for low income families.

Sonia is fluent in Spanish. She holds a BA in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work, both from Washburn University.
